Pacitan – In an effort to support the smooth study of Past Learning Recognition (RPL) students, the Master of Education Management Study Program, Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University (FIP UNY) held a Monitoring for the Acceleration of Study of RPL S2 Student Education Management in Pacitan Regency on Thursday (2/7/2026) at the Pacitan State Community Academy (AKN).

The monitoring activity was led by the Coordinator of the Master of Educational Management Study Program FIP UNY, Dr. Slamet Lestari, M.Pd., as part of the study program's commitment to ensuring that students receive optimal academic assistance to complete their studies on time.

In his presentation, Dr. Slamet Lestari conveyed the progress of the implementation of the Master of Education Management RPL Program in Pacitan Regency as well as explaining the results of the evaluation regarding student readiness to face the final stages of lectures. This monitoring not only serves as a means of evaluating academic achievements, but also serves as a forum for dialogue between study programs and students to identify various challenges faced during the lecture process.

One of the materials that is of concern is the study completion mechanism, especially the thesis exam stage. Students get an explanation of the academic flow starting from preparation before the exam, the implementation of seminar results and thesis exams, to the administrative completion process after being declared passed. The delivery of this information is expected to help students prepare for each stage in a more targeted and systematic manner.

In addition to discussing the academic aspect, this activity also contains the results of monitoring the implementation of lectures. Various student inputs related to the learning process, lecturer assistance, time management, and final project completion are evaluation materials for study programs to continue to improve the quality of academic services. The monitoring forum took place interactively so that students could convey their experiences, obstacles, and expectations for the implementation of the RPL program.

On this occasion, Dr. Slamet Lestari, M.Pd. emphasized that the acceleration of study is not only determined by students' academic abilities, but also by discipline in managing time, consistency in completing each stage of research, and good communication with supervisors.

"This monitoring is a form of assistance from the study program so that students can complete their studies on time without reducing academic quality. We hope that students will continue to maintain their commitment, actively consult with supervisors, and take advantage of the various academic facilities that have been provided."

The activity also highlighted the importance of building a learning ecosystem that supports the success of RPL students. Collaboration between students, supervisors, study programs, and partner institutions is seen as an important factor in creating an effective learning process while supporting the completion of studies in a sustainable manner. In addition, students are encouraged to implement the learning outcomes obtained during lectures into leadership and education management practices in their respective educational units.

Through this monitoring activity, the Master of Educational Management Study Program FIP UNY affirms its commitment to continue to provide responsive and quality academic services for RPL students. It is hoped that similar activities can be a forum for continuous evaluation as well as strengthen the synergy between study programs and students in realizing timely study completion and producing graduates who are able to make a real contribution to improving the quality of education in the region.
